A fluorescence immunohistochemistry study confirmed that fluconazole, a fluconazole derivative, was the active ingredient in Diflucan in both the oral and the topical formulations. These results indicate that, after oral administration, Diflucan inhibits the growth of oral and topical fungal infections of the skin. In the topical formulation, the activity of fluconazole was shown to be greater in patients with systemic candidiasis. The oral preparation was tested in vitro and found to be efficacious for the treatment of candidiasis and oral candidiasis. However, in vivo, in patients with systemic candidiasis, fluconazole was not shown to interfere with oral and topical fungal infections.
The fluconazole in the oral formulation was determined to be the most effective and the most selective fluconazole in systemic candidiasis. The effect of fluconazole in systemic candidiasis was demonstrated in vitro and in vivo in patients with systemic candidiasis. In vivo, fluconazole demonstrated efficacy in reducing systemic candidiasis, which was confirmed in the in vitro study. Fluconazole was also shown to be effective in reducing oral candidiasis in the systemic fungal infection. The in vivo effect of fluconazole in systemic candidiasis in patients with systemic candidiasis was demonstrated in vitro and in vivo in patients with systemic candidiasis. Fluconazole demonstrated its effect in systemic candidiasis in patients with systemic candidiasis.
